Still very busy this week, but my review of C'mon is up at PopMatters today. I will be covering all of the tracks here, but if anyone was wondering what I thought of the album... (quick answer: 9/10)

man, you really hit the nail on the head with this one. absolutely how I felt about the album
Thanks, anonymous! (jeeze, I am going to start making people sign their names or something) I'm kind of glad I didn't see any other reviews before I wrote the review, because most of them seem to have a different take on the band than I do. Then again, there's also a track-by-track by Alan and an interview with Mimi I wish my searches had turned up before writing... (see the comments for "Majesty/Magic" for an example of why)
Great review! I've been listening to it for the last couple of days, and it is definitely much warmer and inviting, kind of dissipating all of the tension that has been creeping up through the last few albums.

Thanks! I wish I'd thought to use something as concise as your line about dissipating tension there, I think that's exactly it.
